I ed the files, installed via the install disk, and replaced the exe file with the crack file. When I attempt to run the game, I get a small black window flash up and then disappear. I’ve tried changing it to run in compatible modes, running as , manually installing Dx9, and reinstalling it. Any other ideas to help me get it to run?
Same thing happened to me. You have to this patch to update the game.

Make sure you install the patch before replacing the original exe with the crack file. If you already have the crack file in place, you will have to just re install the game and do it then
